At 1,700 m of altitude, at the bottom of the valley, La Chalp is a veritable blessing for lovers of Nordic activities. It is the second most popular Nordic area of the Hautes-Alpes thanks to its size, high altitude and favourable exposure: with early and good-quality snow throughout the season. The Nordic area of Crévoux offers six slopes dedicated exclusively to cross-country skiing (classic and skating) with easy and sunny slopes on the Plateau, combined with more athletic routes on the north-facing slope. Crévoux was therefore the ideal choice to host this event, guaranteed to satisfy all Nordic enthusiasts.
